last week people were citing h1n1, 12,000 total people dead through the entirety of the pandemic

this week they're citing the flu, 30k-60k dead per year. soon enough we'll eclipse that, and they'll come up with another ridiculous comparison. at some point we all die when the sun explodes but until then our political discourse will continue on as either being for or against unnecessarily deaths of humans. i personally am against dead americans unnecessarily dying but that's because i don't profit off dead americans like politicians and health care executives.

also, side note, i don't want covid-19 to kill anybody but if it's gonna kill good people like joe diffie it better take some bad people too.
